O.L. Emerick, Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent, responds to John Ryan, former Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates, who wrote requesting that Conklin school remain open. Ryan's letter includes a list of 20 children who hope to attend the Conklin School. While Emerick promises to bring the request before the School Board, a note written on Ryan's letter states "decline to open."
